With the festive season just about to begin, auto companies in the country are offering huge discounts and offering freebies on their cars to lure buyers and increase their sales. The offers and discounts being provided by four big car makers in the country are mentioned below.
Maruti Suzuki is providing attractive offers on its various models. A cash discount of Rs. 35 thousand is being given on Maruti A Star, Wagon R Vxi, Ritz Petrol and Sx4 Petrol model whereas Maruti WagonR Lx and Lxi are available at a cash discount of Rs. 27 thousand and comes with a music system for free. A discount of Rs. 3,000 on Maruti Sx4 – CNG and Rs. 20,000 on its diesel variants are being offered and an offer of Rs. 50,000 discount is available on Maruti Sx4 Celebration Model. However, no offers are provided on Maruti Ritz Diesel, Swift, Swift Dzire and Ertiga Petrol Diesel.
The offers provided on Mahindra, this festive season include free insurance on Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Xylo D2, D4, E4, E8, E9. Moreover, additional accessories are also being provided with D2, D4 and E4 model. On the other hand, Mahindra XUV 500 and the recently launched Mahindra Quanto has no offers on them.
Hyundai Motor too, in order to increase its sales, is offering plum discount on its models. Hyundai Eon and Hyundai i20 Petrol are coming with free Insurance and Rs. 20 thousand loyalty whereas Santro is available for Rs 36,000 less. The price of Hyundai i10 1.1 has been reduced by Rs. 23,000 and an additional loyalty of Rs. 25,000 is being given whereas, Hyundai i10 1.2 has its price reduced by Rs. 26,000 and is coming with Rs. 25,000 loyalty. There are no offers on Hyundai Verna Diesel whereas its petrol version is being offered a discount of Rs. 7500 and a loyalty of Rs. 25,000.
Tata Motors, which has seen 17.7 per cent decrease in its sales in September, too is trying to lure buyers. A cash discount of Rs. 30,000 is being offered on its Indica Ev2 LE, LS and LX model and the same amount on its Indigo Ecs Ls, Lx model (Vx Model at Rs. 20,000). On the other hand Vista LX, VX and Zx comes at a cash discount of Rs. 20,000 and Manza Aqua and Aura for a discounted price of Rs. 50,000.
