      Auto Expo 2012 witnessed the showcasing of first-of-its-kind products by Force Motors

      On 6th January 2012, the Pune-based Force Motors Limited showcased its latest range of vehicles at the stall that was divided into four different zones. The car maker has been allotted Hall 7F at the Asia's largest and complete automotive show.

      Zone-I of the stand was used to display the world's biggest monocoque van, Traveller-26, which has strong pressed steel body parts that have been assembled with the help of robots. The new vehicle has been built completely in-house by Force Motors Research & Development. Traveller-26 has been provided with comfortable seats, driveability and reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels, along with high-end safety.

      In addition, the engine and gearbox boast of advanced technology that ensures highest power output in the category, along with best-in-class mileage. The company also came up with the luxury variant of Traveller-26 that is capacious enough to fit-in 15 passengers while offering an inter-city coach experience. The BS-IV compliant Traveller Luxury, with an innovative instrument panel at the front, was also a part of the Force Motors stand. As a matter of fact, the vehicle has raced past every rival to become the first choice of all tour and travel operators, hospitality sector and corporate clients in India.

      Zone-II saw the display of Personal Vehicles that included the highly-awaited 4x4 version of Force One and two more variants of 4x2 Force One. In addition, the stall witnessed the exclusive showcasing of C-in-C Ladder type chassis.

      Zone-III was dedicated to Force Motors' environment-friendly and flexible-fuel vehicles. The Zone showcased Traveller Hybrid vehicle that comes out as a clear winner among contenders, in terms of an all-new technology that it embodies. The first-of-its-kind exemplary technology ensures optimum utilisation of energy and has been developed in collaboration with Ricardo PLC and Locomotive Technologies Limited, U.K. This groundbreaking technology is mated with regenerative braking and waste exhaust heat generation. It allows users to travel up to 23 emission-free km on 200 sunny days per year and moreover, lowers the spendings on fuel by around 30%. CNG-run variants of Traveller and Trump were also showcased in Zone-III. These CNG models would surely be preferred in cities like Delhi and Ahmedabad that have sufficient number of CNG fuel stations.

      Zone-IV showed products that have been produced using unmatched technological know-how. Mercedes-Benz engines and axles were put on display in this Zone. Since 1997, Force Motors has been actively involved in the process of assembling and examining the engines that are placed under the hood of locally built Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. The company has till now assembled around 28,000 engines. Force Motors has been presented with Mercedes Quality Award for two consecutive years, 1999 and 2000.
