      Audi Q3 awarded five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test

      The European New Car Assessment Programme commonly known as Euro NCAP, recently, graded Audi's new model Q3 with five stars for passive crash safety. Audi Q3 came out with flying colours in the crash test and has been termed as one of the safest cars in its class. Owing to several features like adult protection from front, rear and side collision, child safety as well as pedestrian safety, the new Audi Q3 has been given the highest rating.

      Euro NCAP consortium was founded in 1997 and consists of officials from European transport ministry, as well as motor companies and consumer protection organisations from every European country. This European consortium is responsible for conducting crash tests and providing an unbiased and reliable assessment regarding the safety level of cars sold in Europe. Over the years, the organisation has encouraged car manufacturing companies to improve the safety standards in their car designs.

      Audi Q3 has been awarded with high scores after thorough testing on the grounds of driver and passenger protection, especially, during front and side collisions. The car proved to be well equipped with extensive features that enhance safety during frontal and side collisions. Moreover, child safety is another aspect well taken car of by the new Audi Q3. Euro NCAP also tested the new car for seatbelts fastening signals or reminders for front and rear passengers.

      Audi has always emphasised on pedestrian protection while designing a car concept. Audi Q3 is no different as it is well equipped with features that are specifically designed to ensure pedestrian safety. Moreover, Audi Q3 also comes with several active safety features like standard day time running lights for better visibility and standard dynamic stability control. Optional safety features in the new Audi Q3 include Audi active lane assist and Audi side assist. 

      Audi Q3 is making its debut tour all around the world and will be seen in Philippines during November. The Germany-based automobile manufacturer has always maintained a reputation of building safe cars and the new Audi Q3 speaks testimony for the same.
