Audi, the third largest luxury vehicle maker in the Indian auto market, is aggressively planning to position itself as the number one seller in the luxury car segment in India by the year 2014. The company will be showcasing the much awaited Q3 SUV at the Delhi International Auto Expo 2012. Audi is expecting around 40% rise in its sales volume post the launch of this compact SUV Q3, next year.
The Q3 will be introduced in both petrol and diesel variants along with the four - wheel drive system that has been incorporated in Audi Quattro. The petrol version consists of a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine which generates a power of 211 bhp, while the 2.0 liter turbo diesel engine outpours a power of 176 bhp, in case of the diesel version. Audi Q3 will give a tough competition to its immediate rival 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, however, its launch has been planned by the mid of 2012.
This Germany based car maker will also unveil the electric hybrid A3 E-Tron concept which will include 1.4-litre, 210 PS TFSI petrol engine and a 27 PS electric motor at this auto expo. Along with A3 E-Tron concept, Audi will also display its R8 Spyder and the new a sports edition of S6 coupe.
