Audi, the German luxury car maker, is planning to introduce a refreshed model of its mid-size Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Q5 in the Indian auto market. Q5 was brought to the country around a couple of years back and is now counted among the few luxury SUVs, which are assembled by Audi India. Reportedly, the model will spark at the Indian showrooms somewhere in early 2013.
Industry experts believe that the new model will not feature too many drastic modifications over the ongoing model and a number of them will be dedicated to its exterior designing. It is expected that the reworked Q5 model will flaunt a redesigned hexagonal shaped front grille with a new set of daytime running LED lights.
An updated front bumper is also expected within the upcoming model, which will boasts of chrome inserts on fog lamps and company logo. Some minor changes are also expected at the rear part of upcoming model, which will include a redesigned LED cluster at tail lights and a new rear diffuser.
In Europe, the Volkswagen-owned auto maker has offered tweaked engine options with its reworked Q5 and thus, the Indian auto experts are also anticipating the same.
