      Audi A6 hybrid launched in Japan

      The Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi has rolled-out their first ever hybrid car – Audi A6 – in Japanese market. Carrying a price tag of 6.9 million yen ($88,465), the luxury hybrid car A6 offers a considerably high fuel economy of 13.8 kilometers per liter. The A6 hybrid was introduced in the global market last year, and it has been receiving a good response from this segment of buyers.

      According to the company, the fuel economy of new A6 hybrid is about 17 percent higher as compared to conventional version of the car.

      By end of this year, the company is aiming to sell as many as 250 units of their new A6 hybrid in the Japanese market, and looking forward to sell a total of 700 units of this car next year.

      While carrying forward their green initiative, the company is planning to add few more hybrid vehicles in their Japanese portfolio in the coming year. The company has said that next year, a hybrid version of their popular luxury sports utility vehicle Q5 will be launched in Japan.
