Audi India has silently introduced a new A4 Premium Sport edition in the country. This mid-level variant is positioned between the A4 Technology Pack trim and the A4 Premium trim. This could be a move to offer more options to buyers and to counter the soon-to-be launched Mercedes C-Class sedan. The new A4 Premium Sport edition is priced at Rs. 39.95 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai.
The exteriors of the Audi A4 Premium Sport variant features a slightly tweaked front bumper and a carbon-black styling package offered with wing mirrors, door moldings and window sills. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to newly designed 20-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels. The new variant is offered in two exterior shades- red and white. Interestingly, the Sport edition gets all-black interiors instead of the dual-tone layout available in the standard A4.
Under the bonnet is the same, but slightly tweaked 2.0-litre TDI motor that is capable of producing 177bhp of power and 380Nm of peak torque. The standard engine produces 134bhp of power and 320Nm of peak torque.
