      Aston Martin showcases Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Vanquish

      Aston Martin has been known across the globe for its offering in stunning luxury car segment. Sleek styling and refined performance has been typical of Aston Martin cars. The group has recently turned 60 and to mark this special feat, the group has working on developing limited edition trims based on Vanquish coupe and Volante convertible. All six trims representing every decade, shall be built with subtle differences that make it truly unique and tailor made. The group claims that these vehicles shall be instantly recognizable as one among 60th anniversary models.

      Speaking more on the occasion, Paul Spires, Commercial Director, Aston Martin Works, said, “This project has been a harmonious co-operation across the whole business, developed uniquely to celebrate 60 years of Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell. I’m thrilled to be unveiling the first of these cars at our Christmas celebration, and look forward to seeing the remaining models being built and delivered to customers throughout the course of our anniversary year in 2015.”

      As the vehicles are based on Vanquish super GT trim, they shall be powered by 6.0-litre V12 petrol engine that has been mated to Touchtronic III eight-speed automatic gearbox. Speaking of features, you may expect, unique anniversary edition yellow accents, stylish sill plates, seat center panels in black and white shade and heavily woven carbon fiber. Speaking more on it, Spires added, “This Vanquish and its five siblings are a celebration of 60 glorious years of Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. The team have created a series of cars that are forward looking and dynamic. Their anniversary accents ensure that they are certainly not a retro pastiche of our history.”
