The legendary American motorbike sports company, Erik Buell Racing has rolled out its new creation after the successful debut of its 1190RX superbike. The latest machine has been given the name of EBR 1190SX by the motor giant and by the looks, this motorcycle is a beauty to behold. The company has termed the new model a naked street-fighter style version of its iconic racing machine, 1190RX superbike. Much information has not been divulged by the company but sources claim that this motorcycle will be hitting sales during the end of this month and its price will be starting from around $16995. Furthermore, this model is anticipated to be available in three colour schemes of Galactic Black, Racing Red and Frost-Bite White.
With the immense success achieved by 1190RX superbike, the company aims to continue this spree for the coming time as well. The company has indicated that being a street-fighter version of the racer bike, the EBR 1190SX will have a similar chassis as its elder sibling. This reports gives an impression that the new model will also be featuring the twin-spar fuel-in frame structure. However, the 2-wheeler giant has attempted to create slight differences in the overall outlook of the bikes. The front facade of EBR 1190SX will be featuring a tubular handlebar for providing utmost balance and support to the rider. The seating arrangement has been elevated slightly and the entire bike has been given a radical look.
From the power's perspective, the new model will be equipped with the similar engine, which is being given in 1190RX superbike. The V-Twin 4-stroke petrol engine is able to generate a mammoth power output of almost 180 bhp with a peak torque of over 136 Nm. For utmost ride comfort, the bike has been provided with Showa inverted big piston and single shock type at the front and rear suspension system, respectively. Safety of the rider is being ensured by the incorporation of large aluminium disc brakes at front and rear wheels, and 21-level traction system for superior grip. The EBR 1190SX is expected to blister rapidly on the roads when it is launched but auto fanatics might have to shed their pockets to purchase one.
