General Motors, the US based leading car maker, is all set to unveil its much awaited 1.2L Spark model at the Los Angeles Motor Show. It is to be mentioned here that 1.2L Spark is the same model that is sold as Chevrolet Beat in the Indian market. The all new Chevrolet Spark 1.2L will not only be better in performance but will also offer enhanced comfort and safety.
The car will come powered by a 1.2L 4 cylinder petrol engine which will be capable of delivering a peak power of 85 bhp. The all new Chevrolet Spark/ Beat will be available in both manual and automatic transmission versions. Carrying a curb weight of 900 kg, the new Chevrolet Spark weighs similar to its previous variant.
The major attractions of the car will include an all new dashboard with a 7" LCD infotainment display, , smart phone connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, internet radio, 15" alloys, multiple airbags, etc.
Though the company is yet to reveal the pricing details and timeline of launch of this car, it is expected to be launched early next year in a price segment of $10,000 to $12,000.
