French carmaker Citroën has launched the 2022 C5 Aircross facelift in India at an introductory price of Rs 36.67 lakh (ex-showroom). This mid-life update has brought several major changes to the exterior and interior of the crossover SUV. That said, the new C5 Aircross is available in a single dual-tone Shine variant.
Unveiled globally in January 2022, the Citroën C5 Aircross facelift features a redesigned fascia, including split and horizontal daytime running lights, new headlights, and reshaped bumper. It also gets redesigned rear lights and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the dashboard comes with a fresh look. Additionally, it features an upgraded and larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, a new centre console with a toggle switch for gear selection, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, dual-zone temperature control, multiple driving modes, and fresh upholstery.
Powering the new Citroën C5 Aircross is the 1,997, inline-four, turbocharged diesel engine generating 175bhp and 400Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed torque-convertor automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 2022 Citroën C5 Aircross competes against the Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, and Jeep Compass.
