The 2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray has been spotted during a public road test for the first time. Based on the new-gen WagonR, the model is likely to sport cosmetic and feature updates when compared to the regular model.
As seen in the spy images, the new Maruti WagonR Stingray test-mule is running on black coloured 15-inch alloy wheels borrowed from the Ignis. The camouflage on the car works well, preventing us from getting an idea about the exterior updates to the model.
Details regarding the upcoming version of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray remain scarce at the moment although we can expect the model to receive sportier shaped bumpers and projector headlamps. The interior may come equipped with a rear view camera and new upholstery.
Engine options on the 2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray would be limited to the BS-VI emission compliant version of the 1.2-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 82bhp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is expected to be offered with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. The new WagonR Stingray, once launched, will sit on the top of the trim line-up.
