Popular German carmaker Mercedes Benz has reportedly been working on the next-gen E-Class Coupe for quite a while now. Earlier spy shots could not give out more details on the vehicle’s body style due to false body panels being used. However, this time around though the vehicle is camouflaged it does give out a few production details.
Based on what could be seen, the front of the E-Class Coupe gets a large grille with single horizontal slat with the three-pointed-star at the centre. The LED headlamps flows smoothly onto the sides of the car. The side look sporty with 14-spoke alloys, while the B-Pillar has been given a miss to offer a retractable side window. The rear gets wrap around tail-lights for a sleek and sporty appeal.
This is indeed for the first time that spy shots of the 2017 E-Class coupe interiors have emerged. Going by the images, the dashboard is expected to get turbine design air vents, an LCD-screen which divides the dual pod analogue dials and premium upholstery. However, the production ready model is expected to vary a little as the vehicle is still in the developmental phase. It is believed that the car might get an individual four passenger seating layout. Going by the spy images, the car will get a fully digital instrument console. More details about the upcoming vehicle may be known in the coming days.
