For Holi, Chevrolet has introduced a new premium colour option – ‘burnt coconut’ to its 2016 range. With the new addition, the new Cruze is now available in seven interesting shades.
Speaking on the occasion, Jack Uppal, Vice President – Marketing & Customer Experience, General Motors India said, “We are happy to introduce the new colour variant of the new Chevrolet Cruze on the auspicious occasion of Holi. The ‘burnt coconut’ colour makes the Chevrolet Cruze line-up even more vibrant and stylish. The new premium colour will be available without any additional cost. The new Cruze has been well appreciated in the marketplace and the addition of the new colour is a testimony to our commitment in this important market segment.”
The Chevrolet Cruze 2016 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre VCDi engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission option. The stylish and sporty sedan generates about 163bhp of power and 360Nm of torque to deliver exhilarating performance. On the safety aspect, the vehicle comes with four airbags and enhanced safety in case of a high-impact collision. Additionally, it gets anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic sensors.
Apart from new cosmetic upgrades in form of LED daytime running lamps, chrome horizontal slats and new projector fog lamps, the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze also gets MyLink infotainment system featuring a new 7-inch touchscreen with applications like internet radio, grace note and SIRI eyes-free compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming and phone telephony with voice recognition control. The facelift model also gets a rear view camera. For added convenience the vehicle’s steering wheel gets buttons for infotainment and Bluetooth handsfree.
Earlier this year Chevrolet introduced the ‘pull me over red’ and ‘satin steel gray’ colours to the 2016 Chevrolet Beat. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze starts at Rs 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). With the introduction of a new shade, interested customers have one more interesting shade to opt from.
