German automaker BMW introduced a mid-life updated version of the 3 Series Gran Turismo, for the global market, last year. This time, the automaker is all set to launch the 2016 3 Series Gran Turismo in India on October 19. The upcoming model gets mild cosmetic and new technological upgrades.
The 2016 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo will be offered in three trim levels: Sport Line, Luxury Line, and M Sport. Globally, the vehicle is offered with three all-new petrol engines which develop 183bhp to 323bhp, while five diesel engine options range between 149bhp to 310bhp of power. To make things more interesting, the new model will be offered in 18 engine, transmission and drive configurations.
The front gets revised grille and tweaked headlamps. The automaker will now offer LED headlamps as standard and the bumpers have been redesigned for sportiness. Though the sides look similar to its predecessor, it gets new alloy wheels. As for the rear, it gets LED taillamps and a bigger bumper. The interior will get premium upholstery and infotainment system with satellite navigation and upgraded switchgear.
