      2013 Lexus GS 250 revealed in Tokyo

      Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automobile giant Toyota Motor, recently revealed its new 2013 GS 250 in Tokyo and is gearing up to roll out its new model in showrooms next summer. The new 2013 GS 250 was the talk of the town of late, when the company uncovered several details about the new model before its official debut in Japan, at the Tokyo Motor Show.

      During November, the 2013 Lexus GS 250 was also unveiled at the International Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou, China, where the new model left quite an impression through its superior engine performance and advanced safety equipment.

      The new GS 250 offers a decent combination of performance and efficiency, which is complimented with highly advanced safety system. The new Lexus GS 250 is powered by a Pre-Crash Safety System, along with Vehicle Dynamic Integrated Management, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor and night view. 

      The official press release by the luxury car brand stated, “Compared to the current GS, the new model has a more spacious interior, with notably more head and legroom for rear seat passengers. It will be offered with a range of new technology features, including a 12.3 inch multimedia screen – the largest on the market.”

      The company also added, “It will be available with a new S-flow air conditioning system with nanoe air purifying technology and a new Mark Levinson audio system with up to 17 speakers.”

      Under the hood, the new Lexus GS 250 is powered by a 2.5-litre, V6 engine that has maximum power output capacity of 206 bhp and an optimum torque of 343 Nm. Moreover, the engine is combined with a six speed automatic transmission system that allows the driver to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds and attain a top speed of 228 kmph.

      Thus, with a powerful engine, optimum safety and a luxurious interior, the new 2013 Lexus GS 250 is expected to hit the right note in Japan's car market.
