The local arm of Italian auto maker, Piaggio Group, has launched limited edition of its scooter Vespa VX in domestic market. Dubbed, 'Vespa Esclusivo' the company has put on offer only 1000 units of the first ever limited edition of Vespa scooter for Indian customers. Being a limited edition, the company has affixed an Esclusivo badge on every unit of limited edition Vespa. The Esclusivo badge contains a number between 1 and 1000 on the storage compartment lid placed on the front apron.
Apart from this, the scooter also sports minor cosmetic changes that include new body decals and graphics, alloy wheels in black and silver shade, seats come with grey top while sides have been coloured in black. Piaggio has rolled out limited edition Vespa Esclusivo in three colour options-Monte Bianco (white), Rosso Dragon (Red) and Nero Matt (Black).
Engine set up of the limited edition Vespa Esclusivois similar to the standard version Vespa VX . Under the hood the same 125 cc, one cylinder, air-cooled engine has been equipped. The engine is good for a maximum power output of 10 Bhp at 7500 RPM along with a top torque of 10.06 Nm at 6000 RPM. A CVT gearbox has been mated to the engine as offered on the regular VX version.
