Detailed Volkswagen Polo Review

What's Good?

Well, to start with the ride quality of the car - incomparable with any other existing hatchback model in the market now. I am very impressed with the ride of the vehicle due to its sturdy and composedness. Thanks to the superb technical equilibrium of handling & suspension which offers the perfect amount of confidence to the driver at handling corners so smoothly and tirelessly . The new 2013 polo has been equipped with a good music system and other handy features such as steering mounted controls, a USB, AUX and SD MMC slot along with the standard CD player. The next thing what i always liked the most in VW is its air conditioning. The cabin will be cooled down within a short time proving its effectiveness.Other features such as single-touch up /down anti pinch system equipped windows are highly worthy and convenient. Speaking about the interiors of the car,I bet no one will not be convinced looking around for quality plastic interiors, simple yet classy colour tones, silver-finished door openers etc.. The very convenient door pockets that can hold a water bottle in each of them is again smart enough and clutter free, giving space for couple of cup-holders under the dashboard and coin holder just below the hand brake. The multi function display in-between the speedo & rpm meters showcases several specialities such as a digital clock, outside temperature, a digital fuel gauge, avg kms/litre, yet-to-go mileage with the remaining fuel and few more useful utilities. In addition to all the above, the exterior is quite sporty and head-turning. As the 2013 polo has been given with smokey head lights ,which adds up to the appeal of sporty looks of the car. Another attractive element of the 2013 polo is its 10-spoke awesome & trendy looking alloy wheels. Under the hood is a 1.2litre TDI Engine churning out a maximum power of 73.9bhp@4200rpm. Simultaneously, with a gushing torque amount of 180Nm@2000rpm. Which simply means, a very good gradual acceleration instead of sudden ravishing catch due to its slightly sluggish initial pick up. I believe this snag is being really helpful in serving the customer with more kms/every litre.

What can improve?

This is where i really not like to talk about because of the immense fondness of the car. However, somethings are to be improved still. I think the interiors of the car looks slightly antiquated. Definitely needs a revamp over there, putting in attractive and modern dash board design instead of its signature classic style is preferred. The two front seats providing a decent comfort but can be much more improvised. Talking about the rear passenger seats, i can clearly tell that they are quite comfortable up to a level but definitely not as much comfortable as the front seats are due to the crampened leg room and not-so-spacious rear cabin. Importantly, the fabric of seats is highly prone to dirt due to its subtle beige colour, which definitely leaves the user getting irritated with repeated cleaning process. Apart from engine being slightly sluggish initially, i see no big drawbacks about the car.
