Volkswagen Passat provides impeccable in-cabin luxury

By Mahesh on 14 September 2011

Volkswagen Passat symbolises exclusivity, owing to its sleek and suave exterior designing that provides impeccable in-cabin luxury. After only driving the luxury sedan a couple of times, I can say that I am more than just satisfied. Not only does the car have superb luxury features but the engine quality will give an enviable driving experience.

In terms of exterior looks and style the sedan is visibly covered with features like strong and evident C pillar, sleek rear view mirrors, front grille, modernistic headlamps with LED lights and effective tail-lights.

One of the most impressive gadget, I find most reliable and useful, are the safety and security equipment. The car comes with standard safety gadgets like air bags, Anti-lock Braking System(ABS) and Electronic Stabilisation Programme(ESP). Additionally the car comes with attention assist feature that ensures that maximum alertness of the driver and the optical parking display.

The optical parking display is one impressive and innovative gadget that has a rear side camera which ensures convenient reverse parking. Coming towards the interior of the luxury vehicle, the car embodies comfort with a flawless and unique décor. The cabin evidences features like dual zone climate control system with automated air circulation and a premium multimedia system with 6 CD changer, MP3 player and 8 speakers.

To cater superior comfort while driving, the cabin has electric sun-blind, electric sun-roof and flexible boot space. In terms of engine performance and pick-up, I was a little disappointed as engine quality was only ordinary. Overall, the entire package of Volkswagen Passat surpasses all the expectation, however, the engine quality still needs improvement.
