Volkswagen Jetta has a sleek and elegant essence paired with decent engine performance and ride quality

By Rosy Fernandes on 12 September 2011

When I took the new Volkswagen Jetta out for a spin, the most enthralling factor for me was its superb cabin that has numerous features, abundant space and comfort-driven equipment. The interior sports a spacious cabin that has good quality leather seating. The engaging central console comes with an integrated music system that supports all kinds of media and 12 way adjustable seats that only add more comfort to the driving experience.

On the exterior front, Jetta lags behind as the looks and design is quiet synonymous to many other models that are already available in the market. However, it still contains many useful features like outside rear view mirrors, halogen headlights, fog lamps, two piece tail-lamps and artistically structures alloy wheels.

Another impressive aspect of Jetta is its safety equipment that includes eight air-bag system that ensure maximum safety of the passengers and driver, upon collision. The car also comes with parking sensors that aid the driver, with both audible and visual signals, while parking. Moreover, the car comes with Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), which has become a pivotal safety measure by responding quickly in difficult driving conditions.

Overall, Volkswagen Jetta has a sleek and elegant essence paired with decent engine performance and ride quality. Although the car still can improve with aspects like adding sunroof, dual zone climate control and providing better ground clearance.
