Detailed Toyota Etios Liva Review

What's Good?

I like its space and almost flat platform giving freedom to rear seat passengers. I like its smooth steering which gives ample driving pleasure even in heavy traffic. Ideal car for matured driving.

What can improve?

The power offered by the 1.2 litre engine some times seem to be inadequate forcing gear shifts. Some kind of lock while shifting to reverse gear straighaway is causing uneasyness. Very low body weight( 900-930 kg) gives little discomfort at higher speeds.

Overall Comments

Overall looks good. But the body panels seems to be so thin and seems to be very fragile. Paint quality is also is average

Reasonably good at this price level. But the absence of a parcel tray like in maruti makes it a too large cabin which in turn diminishes the AC performance

Excellent. Easily the best and smoothest and lightest steering in this category in the country. Gives confidence to turn at any traffic and easy to handle. Low power makes little difficult in towns with climb up and down like mine. The sensor assisted accelerators is ideal for matured drivers. Overall riding pleasure is unique and very very good

If you travel with 5 persons on board there are no better cars( for space) in this category. I like to drive this car. The cost of my 2nd year(20000 km) service was just Rs.2200/- much less than my previous ALTO!! Flat platform is a boon to those sitting in rear seat. The Boot space is also sufficiently large.
