All Tata Vehicles are worth to use for a period of 3 years, u use any how, all vehicles will work fentastic for 3 years but further those will become scrap. No matter if it's petrol or diesel. after 3 years the maintenance cost of the Tata vehicles will touch the sky. Live example: my Aunt's husband is high cort Judge & they took Indica V2 petrol as their use was minimum. Today after 3 years & that too after using it very rarely, car is giving more trouble & maintenance has reached to it's peak. So think once again b4 purchasing tata vehicles.. Regards, Swapnil Natu.

If you are taking car with long term perspective , utility , space Indica is really good. Alto or Santro will look like toys beside Indica. Indica has a really big car feel & very stable on high speeds too ( 120 - 130 Km/Hr.) Being heavy car it is very safe on highways. Pro Indica - Big Car , Spacious , sturdy , low maintanance , stable at high speeds , Cheap. Cons Indica :- Slightly lower fuel efficiency , Low resale value.

Indiaca in general is a good car. The VFM (Value FOr Money) level is very high. If its a used DLE, I would say that all India models prior to 2006 (especially Diesel) have problem with their fan belt. It starts cranking out after few 100 Km's. Also, buy a diesel car only if you have atleast 80-100 Kms every day. I own a India Petrol (LSI) model for last 5 yrs. Now although I own a SX4, I still love driving my Indica. Petrol is low on maint and also will not give u troubles if you have lower Km running or car lying idle for 10+ days. Diesel cars need continous running. Else it would start giving u troubles. Bottomline, If you r going for Indica Vista, you can blindly go for it. Its the best in its segment

I have been the owner of a Tata vehicle, namely indica from 2000-2005, and believe I spent the same amount of money on the car in those 5 yrs as I spent to buy it. I have driven around in both Innova as well as Safari. Both vehicles seem to be good, but I am scared of the Tata tag.My own experience tells me that Tata vevicles keep on asking for something or the other, or may be I am very fudgy driver who finds even a small noise in the vehicle very irritating. However I have been driving a Maruti product namely Baleno since 2005 and have all praises for it.

Tata indica dls is good, value for money but now you must go for vista, for greater compforts, mileage etc as compared to other cars with similar features.

Except for the fact of low fuel economy, the Xeta has no problems. Its for those who really need a heavy car with good driving pleasure, unlike other light weight cars where the feeling of flying starts at speeds above 75kmph. People in our country run towards fuel economy but thats not the only factor. Other plus point of Indica Xeta is it has a notchy gear lever so that there is no searching for gear slots. TATA has largely improved their passenger cars in the last 3-4 years dedicating interest in R&D. I have Indica petrol LSI V2 (2002 model) and an Indica Xeta (2010 model) except the older engine runs a little coarse, its very reliable.
