Independence Day is right across the week and every company is ready to revel in the 68th occasion to celebrate the nation’s freedom. This is the time when most of the companies reach out to their customers and make sure the connection is maintained and sometimes rekindled. Popular two-wheeler manufacturer, Yamaha Motor India had organised the second episode of the Kid’s carnival during the last weekend. It was based on a patriotic theme just to evoke the sense of patriotism among the kids of this generation. The officials of the popular automobile group were present at the occasion and were happy to bond with the customers.

Present at the occasion was Roy Kurian, the vice president of Yamaha Motor India Sales. He was spotted taking active part during the event. He said, “With our mission to create ‘Kando’ (Japanese term denoting ‘appreciation’, ‘admiration’) for our valuable customers we are always focused on novel ideas to engage with our audiences. Kids Carnival is among our most exciting customer connect initiative to engage with our dealers and customers. This was a very opportune time as we are celebrating our 68th Independence Day and we wanted to interact with and reward our future generation and customers. This was our way of inculcating patriotism among the kids and help in building them to be future responsible citizens.”

There was high participation from the customers at the carnival with kids being the more enthusiastic bunch. Most of them visited various Yamaha showrooms across the cities. They were given first hand opportunity to experience the Yamaha Alpha scooter and several more. The kids had won ethnic and came with the Indian tricolour for the occasion. The festive mood was enhanced by the presence of Zippy, which is the mascot for Yamaha. Exciting games, competitions and other funny, entertaining and stimulating activities were organised with full fervour to enthral the kids. There was also a painting competition organised for the kids to take part. The theme for the event was ‘India in the 21st century’. A quiz was organised based on the national theme just to make the kids aware of the important events that took place on the path of Independence. Altogether, this kids’ carnival organised by Yamaha was a runaway hit and a nice way to come close to the national customers.
