The stylish and budget friendly Brio hatchback from Honda has indeed been a popular choice among urban customers. For a while now, news had been doing rounds that the company has been working on a next-gen trim for quite sometime now. As per fresh update, the company shall launch the all new model sometime in 2017.
For now there are no confirmed updates in this regard and it is believed that Honda may continue the petrol variant with a 1.2-Litre engine, whereas for diesel it is expected that Honda may offer a new 1.1-Litre engine that would be based on the company's i-DTEC line. The Next-Gen Brio hatchback may carry an entirely new bodyshell design and more appealing interiors in order to compete strongly against competitors like Hyundai Grand i10, Tata Bolt and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
The Next-Gen Brio shall be offered in manual as well as automatic transmission options. More details about the upcoming Brio model is unavailable for now. However, the company may start revealing details sometime next year in-tune with the developments.
