Volvo will launch the much awaited new XC60 SUV in India tomorrow. The latest product offering from the Swedish vehicle manufacturer will be available in a single ‘Inscription’ variant and get an exhaustive feature list. Moreover, the SUV is based on the SPA (scalable platform architecture) which underpins both the XC90 and the S90.

Mechanically, the Volvo XC60 is powered by a 2.0-litre D5 diesel engine that generates 235bhp of power and 480Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. The SUV gets five preset drive modes - Eco, Comfort, Off Road, Dynamic and Individual. We have recently driven the new XC60. Click here to read more about the new SUV.

In terms of features, the new XC60 gets ventilated front seats with Nappa leather upholstery, four-zone climate control and air suspension system. Additionally, the vehicle also gets a 15-speaker audio system from Bowers and Wilkins and a panoramic sunroof. As for safety, the SUV gets adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, lane keeping aid, park pilot assist, 360 degree camera, hill start assist and HUD mode. Although the official price for the new XC60 will be announced tomorrow, we believe that the SUV price tag might range between Rs 65-70 lakhs.
