Last year German automaker Volkswagen had introduced the facelift Vento in the country. This time around, fresh images have surfaced which shows the new model with full LED headlamps with DRLs and new gloss black alloys. If introduced, this might be limited to top-spec Vento variant which might be offered during the festive season.

Apart from these two upgrades, the sedan continues to be powered by existing engine options such as 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, or a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Likely to be offered as top-spec model, the vehicle will continue to get cruise control, ‘Vento’ floor mats, ‘Vento’ Scuff Plates, detachable window blinds, electrically fold-able mirrors and a Blaupunkt touch-screen multimedia system with navigation. The variant also gets a carbon fibre finished centre console.

It is unlikely that the German carmaker will charge additional for the fresh upgrades as the vehicle is expected to be introduced around the festive season. Currently, the feature loaded variant is priced at Rs 9.7 lakh for petrol and Rs 10.98 lakh for diesel. More details about the variant will be known soon.
