Volkswagen India has today launched a highly anticipated upgraded version of its Volkswagen Jetta Sedan in the auto market. The new Jetta has got an improved all new look, engine, interior and improved safety fetures. The all new edition of Jetta has been made 90 MM longer than its previous version, while the seats too have been widened a little more making it more comfortable. The new Jetta will cost 14.12 lakh rupees.
The 2011 VW Jetta has come out in both petrol and diesel versions. Its petrol version is powered by a 1.8 L engine, while the diesel version comes with a 2.0L pot. Both engines are comparatively more powerful, economical and efficient than the current Jetta. For example, the diesel version churns out a power of 140 BHP ahead of the previous version’s 110 BHP.
Having acquired 6 speed gearbox with DSG automatic transmission, longer wheelbase and other advanced improvements, the brand new VW Jetta has not only left its own predecessor behind but has come out to challenge the control of Skoda Laura in the D segment Sedan space.
