Volkswagen India has recently started an 'Express facility' service at Coimbatore. The manufacturer aims to service VW cars faster with this new facility.

The Coimbatore workshop now gets 44 work bays and 75 parking bays in a bid to service more cars in a shorter span of time. Volkswagen’s aim is to service more than 2,500 cars in a month through this facility. Each car will now require 60-90 minutes depending on the kind of work. Specially trained service personnel have been appointed to carry on these after-sales service representing Volkswagen’s global brand standards, says the company.

With a long-term investment plan in India, Volkswagen is adding new models in its Indian portfolio. With these new models coming in, the manufacturer also plans to offer a hassle-free after-sales experience to customers, which clearly hasn’t been great so far. The new 'Express Facility' will be offered at no extra cost and will soon expand to different cities in India.

According to Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, the plan is to lead the industry when it comes to service and customer satisfaction and he believes the introduction of this program will ensure a hassle-free service experience. This initiative will now be rolled out across key Volkswagen dealerships across India in a phased manner starting with Gurgaon and Chennai.
