The current-gen Ford Mustang is among the most popular sports car in a number of markets including India where it was officially introduced earlier this year. Now, there’s an updated model that’s due for launch sometime next year.
To be sold as the 2018 model year Mustang, the car features minor design changes. Besides tweaked exteriors, the Mustang will get a number of special editions and trim packages such as the Mach 1.
While the exterior will be more or less the same, significant changes are expected under the skin, with a new 10-speed automatic finding its way into the Mustang. Ford could even improve power and economy throughout the engine range.
The 2018 Mustang range is expected to go on sale early next year in the US, followed by other markets including Europe where the current-gen Mustang is on offer in right-hand drive configuration.
