The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan would be powered by 410cc liquid cooled engine that may generate about 30bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. For now, the bike does not seem to get an ABS system, but it is anticipated that the company may offer one at a later stage. The bike seems to get the petrol tank that has been borrowed from the Continental GT. The production version could also be loaded with large windscreen on the front and get luggage panniers.

It is also believed that the Royal Enfield Himalayan get an all black theme. As seen a while earlier, the test mule also featured an instrument cluster with digital display and altitude meter apart from the upswept exhaust system. The pricing aspect is not known for now, but it is believed that the bike may be offered under Rs 2 lakh range for price sensitive Indian markets.
