Korean automaker Hyundai has recently announced a free Android Auto upgrade for customers in Australia who have recently purchased either models such as - i30, Elantra, Veloster, Tucson and Santa Fe with Apple CarPlay compatibility. Upcoming Hyundai Tucson likely to be offered with Android Auto feature

The Hyundai Tucson is set to debut in India soon and it is likely that the higher variant will get the Apple CarPlay system, thereby indicating a possibility of a pre-installed Android Auto software being offered in the upcoming model here as well. The Android Auto system allows driver and passengers to mirror their smartphones and make phone calls, access maps, send messages and access a wide range of apps via the car’s touchscreen.

The five seat vehicle will be offered in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre engine, while the diesel trim is expected to get a 1.6-litre engine option. Along with all modern safety features, the India-bound Hyundai Tucson will also be offered with standard features such as climate control, touchscreen infotainment system and electrically adjustable leather seats.
