Recently Ford had discontinued production of the current generation Aspire in the country. Expected to be launched later this year, we have rendered the Aspire facelift to get a glimpse of what the new model might look like. The new Aspire will get styling cues from the new Europe-bound KA+ hatchback which had been recently unveiled. Moreover, it will also get the powerful 1.2-litre dragon petrol engine from the soon to be introduced Freestyle crossover.

In terms of design, the Aspire facelift will now feature large headlamps and redesigned front grille with chrome surround. The side profile looks somewhat similar to the current generation and the roofline will be similar to that of the Freestyle, except for the roof-rails. The new Aspire will get redesigned alloy wheels, while the rear will come with a fresh set of redesigned tail lamps.

As for the interior, the new Aspire will feature a new tweaked dashboard for freshness. The vehicle will get a 6.5-inch touchscreen system from the Freestyle crossover. The new infotainment system will get Ford Sync3 technology along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity support. The Aspire facelift is also expected to get a new dual tone upholstery to set it apart from the new Figo facelift which might get an all-black interior.

Under the hood, the 2018 Ford Aspire will be powered by a new 1.2-litre dragon petrol engine that generates an impressive 95bhp of power. The 1.5-litre diesel on the other hand generates 94bhp of power. Five-speed manual transmission will come as standard in both the trims, while it is speculated that the company might also offer a six-speed automatic in the petrol version.
