The Japanese carmaker, Honda has showcased the upcoming BR-V compact SUV with a ‘Misty Green Pearl’ exterior paint job for the first time. Soon-to-be launched in Indonesia, the Honda BR-V is reported to be available in a total of six colour options - Taffeta White, Passion Red Pearl, Misty Green Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic. The vehicle has already received over 3,500 bookings in Indonesia, while deliveries will be commenced by early 2016. Honda has increased the production of the BR-V from 2,000 units to 3,000 – 4,000 units on monthly basis. The company, currently, is receiving 1,400 bookings per month. 
For the Indonesian market, the BR-V will be made available with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that will be matched to a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission. While the former develops a maximum power of 118bhp and 145Nm of torque, that latter one offers 98.6bhp and 200Nm. With Zig-zag piston coating pattern and CCS (cooling control spacer), the petrol mill is claimed to return high fuel efficiency.
The BR-V is designed on an ‘Active Solid Motion’ philosophy, and measures 4,455mm in length, 1,735mm in width and 1,650mm in height. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 2,660mm, and a ground clearance of 201mm. Features on offer will be a touchscreen audio system, a multi-information display, automatic climate control, center console with piano black finish, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), dual front airbags, etc.
