TVS Motors has launched the modified version of its bike Apache – TVS Apache RTR Hyper Edge in India. Apache Hyper Edge is yet another Apache RTR 160 with some modifications in style and looks. Minor visual difference is in the "HyperEdge" sticker on the tank flaps and new design stripes on the tank, front fender and rear tail panel. Also the RTR Hyper Edge 160 gets the kind of detachable rear mud fender available on the RTR 180.
Apache RTR 160 Hyper Edge generates 15.2bhp at 8500rpm and 13.1Nm at 6000rpm. There are no mechanical changes nor in the features list. Other than the Hyper Edge monicker, TVS has added stickers at fuel tank and front fender and removable rear fender (again, like in the Apache RTR 180).
Fortunately, there is no change in the price tag either. As such, the new bike is expected to appeal far better than previous RTR versions.
