The stylish fog lamps that are outlined with chrome surrounds give a sporty appearance to the car. Also, the front fascia of the vehicle gets refreshed just the like rear portion, which gets a new set of tail lights. Furthermore, Toyota has provided extra set of reflectors and a thick chrome strip on the rear part of the vehicle.

It is expected that Toyota might be offering Innova in multiple trim levels, namely G (7 and 8 seater options), GX (7 and 8 seater options), VX (7 and 8 seater options) and an all new Z variant. The top-spec variant, according to sources, might get added features like leather seats and wooden inlays in the interiors. Also, the Z trim level might get steering-mounted audio controls.

Interiors of the new Innova might also get some minor changes as a beige colour scheme shall be provided. On the other hand, the petrol version will be powered by the same 2.0-litre VVT engine having a peak output figure of 130 bhp.

Since its inception in the Indian car market during the year 2005, it will be the third time that Innova will be undergoing updates. The first time that the car had gone through changes was in 2009 that was followed by another in 2011. As the launch date of the facelift Innova is nearing, various dealers of the company have started to offer discounts on the existing models so as to clear their stocks. As far as the pricing is concerned, the facelift version of Innova might be costlier than the existing one as it gets additional features. Also to mention, the new model of Innova is expected to arrive in global markets by 2016 as the company is actively working on it.
