Potential customers who have been waiting for the Innova Crysta to be launched in petrol guise can now get one by paying a booking amount of Rs 1 lakh. Dealers in the country have started accepting the booking for the vehicle and deliveries for the same will commence from next month. The vehicle will be offered in three variants – Gx, Vx and Zx and the prices for the same will be revealed in the coming days.
Under the hood, the Innova Crysta petrol variant will be powered by a 2.7-litre engine that generates around 166bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. Along with a manual transmission option, the MPV will also come with automatic transmission option. The petrol variant will continue to offer standard safety features as its diesel counterpart.
Introducing a petrol variant will once again start the Innova sales in Delhi and Kerala where its sales were affected due to the 2-litre diesel ban. Additionally, it will also help customers in Delhi who have been fretting over the recently introduced ban on 10-year old diesel cars. Moreover, with the thinning difference between the petrol and diesel prices in the country, customers will now have more option to choose from.
