Toyota has just launched the Innova Crysta at the price of Rs 13.84 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) at a press conference held in Mumbai.
The Innova Crysta is an all-new car that’s built on a frame which is more rigid due to the addition of more cross members and additional welding points. This MPV has seen quite a bit of enhancements to the engine and overall strengths to make it a more compelling buy. It is now longer, wider and taller than the outgoing model but still has the same wheelbase. Power comes from two diesel units. There’s a 2.4-litre engine that makes 150bhp and 343Nm of torque which is mated to a five-speed manual ‘box. And a 2.8-litre motor which produces 174bhp and 360Nm that uses a six-speed auto gearbox. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency figure of 15.1kmpl for the 2.4-litre manual, and 14.29kmpl for the 2.8-litre automatic.
Buyers can now enjoy ABS, EBD and three airbags (dual front and knee airbag) as standard on the Innova Crysta. One can choose from the available trims called G, GX, VX and ZX. Nevertheless, the automatic transmission will only be offered on the GX and ZX trims. Prices for the Toyota Innova Crysta are listed below -
