On domestic front, TKM registered growth of 9 per cent with 12,010 units sold in June 2014 as compared to 11,010 units sold in June 2013. The current sales trend in domestic market implies that new vehicles are acting as catalysts when it comes to monthly sales. Moreover, the new government has agreed on retaining the excise duty announced during the interim budget which means there will be no change in the price of vehicles. This will also boost customer sentiment and will gradually result in increased sales.
