Toyota has announced a 2-7 per cent hike in prices across its popular selling models like the Innova, Fortuner, Corolla and the Etios. The revision in prices is effective from 12 September 2017. Toyota attributes its latest hike in price to the hike in cess amended by the GST council. The company has, however, clarified that the prices for its hybrids and small cars remain unaffected for now.

As revealed by the Japanese car manufacturer, the approximate price increase in Delhi for the Innova Crysta will go up to Rs 78,000, Fortuner up to Rs 1,60,000 and the Corolla Altis will witness a price rise of up to Rs 72,000. Likewise, the Platinum Etios price has been hiked by Rs 13,000.

Toyota has showcased the new Land Cruiser at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show. The new model gets a refreshingly new design and technology. Depending on the market it is headed to, the new Land Cruiser gets a massive 4.0-litre V8 petrol, 3.0-litre V6 diesel or a 2.8-litre four-cylinder motor.  All the engines will get a six-speed AT and AWD system.
