Toyota Etios Liva gets dual-tone paint starting at Rs 5.94 lakh

Toyota has updated their hatchback, the Etios Liva. The B-segment hatchback is now offered with dual-tone paint scheme with a price tag starting at Rs 5.94 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The dual-tone paint will be offered on the V and VX trims and will be available in three hues combined with black.

The Etios Liva styling has been tweaked for fresher looks as well. The front bumper has been reworked with a blacked out front grille. The carbon-fibre finish on the air dam elements look sporty and it gets chrome bezels for the fog lamps as well. Further, it gets electrically foldable wing mirrors, a sporty roof spoiler and diamond cut alloys. The three colour options are blue, red and white coupled with the black top.

The interiors are done in beige and black and the centre console now gets a piano black finish. Even the centrally mounted instrument cluster has been tweaked. In terms of safety, ISOFIX mounting points for child seats have been offered standard across the range along with ABS and EBD. It gets dual front airbags and three-point seatbelts for all five occupants.

Under the hood, you have the 1.2-litre four cylinder petrol engine developing 79bhp of power mated to a five-speed gearbox. The 67bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine also comes with a five-speed manual that drives the front wheels. Available in two trims, the Etios Liva dual-tone V petrol is priced at Rs 5.94 lakh while the VX is priced at Rs 6.44 lakh. The diesel V gets a price tag of Rs 7.24 lakh and the VX is offered at Rs 7.61 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai.

The Etios Liva competes with the Hyundai Grand i10, the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the Tata Bolt and the Ford Figo in the Indian car market
