      Maruti Suzuki Swift is among one of the best selling cars in the Indian market. Ever since its launch, Swift has remained on top of sales charts, warding off competition from most other models. However, competition in the Indian market is large, mainly due to its dynamic nature and a large customer base. Swift has faced tremendous competition by several models including the Toyota Etios Liva. Let’s take a look at how these hatchbacks fair against each other.

      Toyota Etios Liva has a no non-sense style that features alloy wheels, bumper corner protector, chrome side door moulding, steering wheel cover, car cushions and roof spoiler. Interiors of this car boasts of premium seat fabric and elegant wood finish. There are several comfort and convenience features in this car for passengers, such as audio system with USB and Aux-in support, powerful air-conditioning system, cooled glove box and adjustable front seat headrests.

      The Etios Liva is available in both petrol and diesel versions. While the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre engine, the diesel variant is fitted with a 1.4-litre drivetrain. The petrol and diesel variants of this car produce outputs of 79 BHP and 67 BHP, respectively.

Interiors of the Swift hatchback are trendy and feature push start button, audio system with Bluetooth control, steering mounted illuminated audio controls, tilt steering, automatic climate control and multi-information LCD display. The petrol variant of Maruti Suzuki Swift is fitted with a K-Series engine that displaces 1197 cc and produces a power level of 83 BHP. Diesel version, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.3-litre engine producing 74 BHP of power and 190 NM of torque.
