Toyota’s facelifted Corolla Altis shows-off an aggressive looking nose that incorporates a set of redesigned LED head lamps, a new grille, fog lamps and bumper. In profile, the new car displays the restyled 16-inch alloy wheels while the rear portion reveals a fresh set of tail lamps with striking internals. Inside the cabin, designers have lent the interiors with more soft touch materials that’s also complimented by white seams running across the dash.

As the brand continues to offer the same set of engines, the 1.8-litre 141bhp petrol motor and the 1.6-litre 125bhp petrol engine will continue to power the facelifted Corolla Altis. Nevertheless, Toyota has now added a new ‘Sport’ mode for the CVT automatic transmission version to offer crisp response from the motor, and have also tweaked the suspension for a smoother ride. Toyota’s latest Corolla Altis will be equipped with seven airbags as standard, a rear-view camera, three USB ports, a seven-inch touchscreen which plays DVDs and Toyota’s T-Connect navigation system, to name a few.

Toyota is yet to confirm when the Corolla Altis will be introduced in the Indian market.
