Here are the top international cars spotted testing in the month of October

Porsche Mission E

Spotted twice in the same month, the Porsche Mission E seems to be nearing its global debut. The all-electric Porsche sedan made its second appearance undergoing hard testing at the Nurburgring race circuit. The Tesla Model S rival will have a 530 kilometres range, accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds, and onto 200 kmph in under 12 seconds. It will boast of quick charging as well.

Cadillac CT6

The 2019 Cadillac CT6 was caught wearing it's Escala inspired grille. The flagship Cadillac gets a modest update adopting styling cues from the 2016 Escala concept. A new grille, horizontal headlights, and new front fascia will be the most prominent changes with an unchanged rear. Other updates are expected to be light. When revealed sometime next year, it will GO up against flagship sedans like the 7 Series, S-Class and the A8

Cadillac XT4

The heavily cladded XT4 test mule sported sensors on the grille and the rearview mirror. It is probably testing the new Super Cruise system. The Super Cruise is Cadillac’s version of Tesla’s Autopilot. The XT4 mule borrows heavily from its larger sibling, the XT5. The Cadillac is rumoured to come loaded with tech, luxury features and the latest in safety systems to rival its German counterparts.

Ford Ranger

The new Ford Ranger reveals the rear leaf-spring suspension, which is a tried-and-tested layout for a pickup truck. Sources expect the next Ranger to have 2WD as standard, with 4WD to be offered as an option with some variants. Powering the new Ranger will be a range of four- and six-cylinder Ecoboost engines. Ford is expected to use their new ten-speed automatic gearbox. Expect the Ford Ranger to be revealed at Detroit in January.

Jeep Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee will finally gets a set of cosmetic revisions, after nearly five years. New headlights are likely to be the most noticeable revisions. The grille is expected to be more like the one seen on the Compass. The rear end is also made to look more conventional. The cabin will be upgraded as well. Under the hood, a high-performance Trackhawk motor is also speculated to make its way upon its debut next year.

Ford Focus wagon

The fourth-gen Focus Wagon will be bigger in terms of length as seen on the prototype. This means that the new Focus wagon will offer superior rear passenger legroom and a larger luggage compartment. It will be powered by a host of EcoBoost and turbo diesel mills, including the 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo from the new Fiesta ST albeit in a lower state of tune.

Toyota Prius MPV

Toyota is developing the second generation Prius MPV. The family model is scheduled for a 2018 reveal and a 2019 market launch. The MPV mule was spotted undergoing tests at the Nurburgring in Germany. We expect the production model to look more extreme, likely along the lines of the Prius hatch. Power will come from a petrol-electric hybrid with a combined output of over 100bhp.

Kia Sedona/Carnival

Kia moved the testing of their MPV from the States to Europe. The Sedona/Carnival hides a new grille, redesigned glass area and a tweaked silhouette under the camouflage. The newly developed eight-speed automatic transmission will replace the currently offered six-speed unit. Expect the outdated infotainment system to be replaced with a more modern unit. However, the Sedona will continue to be powered by the same set of petrol and diesel powerplants.

Chevrolet Colorado

The Chevrolet Colorado utility truck guise is a potential alternative to the full-size truck hinting that it could be added to a ZR2-style truck. The addition of a snorkel, white reverse lights, a revised rear bumper, a raised ride height, aggressive wheels, a ZR2 badged tailgate, and a different M plate can be seen on this truck. If it ever comes to production, expect it to be announced sometime next year.
