      Tokyo Motor Show 2017 - Latest generation Toyota Crown will soon be longer than ever before

      Toyota revealed its latest 15th generation Crown at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. Recently, the new generation Toyota Crown was spotted on test at the Nurburgring racetrack in Germany and will be based on the new TNGA platform. The current generation model was introduced back in 2012.

      Mechanical details are not available for now and it is believed that it might be offered in petrol and hybrid engine options at the time of its launch. More details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come. In terms of dynamics, the new Toyota Crown measures 4,910mm in length, 1,455mm in height, 1,800mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2,920mm. The new model is expected to offer cabin space for its occupants.

      Based on what can be seen, the front section gets a large honeycomb grille which is flanked by large C-shaped LED DRLs. The vehicle gets a masculine bumper with a U-shaped chrome strip. The new generation Crown will get body-painted side skirting and rear spoiler. The rear section looks equally appealing with LED tail lamps and dual exhaust tips which are housed within a diffuser.
