Honda is Japan’s second-largest carmaker and like Nissan it is banking fully on its hybrid and fully electric models which look like the next generation theme for the upcoming cars. Earlier it had introduced hydrogen fuel cars that produce water and electricity but switched to plug-in electric cars due to roadblocks like the exorbitant cost of the technology and of hydrogen fueling stations.
At the Tokyo show, Honda displayed its Skydeck model which is a six-seater hybrid concept minivan. It features seating for six, a glass roof, scissor doors and a far-out interior. More importantly, the Skydeck suggests a future version of an Odyssey-style minivan that could be powered by a hybrid powertrain.

It also revealed CRZ model which is essentially now in production form. The car is scheduled to go on sale next spring in the United States and as early as February in Japan. Honda promises CRZ to be “more affordable” and promises more fuel economy.
From Honda also comes the EV-N, a cute new electric concept car that can store a one-wheel personal mobility device inside its door.
It finally presented the new concept car 'FCX Clarity', a fuel-cell electric vehicle that runs on electricity produced from hydrogen, though as explained fuel cell tech may not be the company's focus now.
