Batmobiles, a word coined for a car used by 'The Caped Crusader' Batman, has always excited the global automobile and comic books aficionados. Mr. Bean, lead character of the world renowned British TV comedy series and played by Rowan Atkinson, used the cute Mini 1000 small car. The Mini 1000 performed a central character in many Mr. Bean episodes and is still considered the most iconic and popular Minis ever went to production.
The movies in James Bond series, based on the novels about the adventures of a fictional MI6 field agent written by Ian Fleming, started the concept of 'Bond Cars.' Apparently, James Bond and stylish cars and cutting-edge gadgets go hand-in-hand. The most popular Bond car is the Aston Martin DB5, which was the favourite vehicle of Sean Connery, the first actor to play James Bond in a motion picture.
Those people familiar with the 'Back to the Future' trilogy will never forget the time machine used in the movie- a modified version of DeLorean DMC-12 sports car. The car was called 'Delorean' throughout the series and, since then the name has stuck with the movie enterprise. Arguably, DMC-12 is the most famous model in Delorean Motor Company's history and when it comes to a time travelling vehicle, it is the Delorean that strikes first in the mind.
