Now we already know that Lexus is India bound soon and we also gave you info about the LX and RX range of SUV’s that should be here soon. But Lexus is known to have a range of cars across segments and that includes some very fast sport coupes as well. So when you see a mad looking Lexus rolling out of a trailer in India, this is indeed good news. What you see in the picture is the Lexus RC F which was spotted in Chennai. Now this could be one of the cars brought down for testing before launch.
So what is the RC F? Well for starters, it’s a bloody fast. With a 5.0 litre V8 pushing out almost 470 PS expect it to cause a lot of worries to the M3’s, C63 AMG’s and the likes. Being a Lexus, it’s loaded with tech as well. The RC F comes with torque vectoring differential that aids handling on the track and when you decide to test it in the hills. You also get an 8-speed sport direct-shift transmission for lightening quick shifts and Brembo brakes to shed speed quickly. It’s pretty high on luxury as well. Like the Idrive in the BMW’s, Lexus gets a remote touchpad, which controls various functions and high-back sport seats which keep you firmly in place.
The RC F is a proper true-blooded sportscar and is sure to appeal to the enthusiasts here in India. Expect prices to go north of a crore going head on against the likes of the BMW M3, M4, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the Porsche 911.
