This time around Tata Motors are banking heavily on its new Revotron technology. The upcoming Tata Zest which started as a plan on paper has now materialized owing to valuable design inputs received from three Tata Motors design studios located in Coventry (UK), Turin (Italy) and Pune (India). The trendy and technologically advanced sedan shall be launched in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version shall be powered by 1.2-litre MPFi turbocharged engine that produces about 89 bhp. The diesel version shall be powered by 1.3-litre multi-jet engine that produces 89bhp of power with 200Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox; however, the diesel version will also get an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) option.

Talk about innovative features and the Zest sedan from Tata shall be loaded with speed sensitive power steering, EPAS with active return function, Harman infotainment system with MapmyIndia navigation, 5-inch touchscreen and other interesting features. The front fascia looks sportier and carries a distinctively newer appeal. The double slat air intake further enhances it overall appeal.
