Tata Motors is celebrating the spirit of Zest by participating in a record breaking rally with its customers to enter the Asia Book of Records. At an event held in Pan Card Club, Baner in Pune 154 Zest customers came in together to create a new record as they drove 21.19 kilometres in a total of three batches.
The previous record was that of 150 cars coming together, but of different models, and Tata Zest was the only single model with in excess of 150 vehicles. CarTrade team did participate in this event with our long termer Zest. The drive commenced from Baner, headed to Mumbai-Bangalore highway and returned to the Pan Card Club.
Previously, the company had even initiated the Zest mileage run across 19 cities with 665 cars, a special initiative for theowners of the Tata Zest. Tata Motors had engaged with Zestcustomers in a mileage challenge for its petrol and diesel variants. There were than 2000 customers who had participated in this rally with the highest mileage achieved as 47.69 km/l with the petrol variant and 37.54 km/l with the diesel variant.
