Things seem to have been improving for the Indian car market off late, mainly due to the ongoing festive season. After seeing a poor period of sales for around eight to nine months, the situation has become better for the Indian car market. In the past few days, the Indian market has seen a number of launches taking place, which include vehicles from all segments. Tata Motors, one of the India's largest automobile manufacturers, has been at the helm of things in recent times. The auto maker, recently, launched the Tata Nano CNG emax, which, as per company claims, the most fuel efficient car in the country. Now, strong reports have emerged, which suggest that the facelift version of Indica Vista might make its way to showrooms soon. Notably, this is not the first instance wherein a manufacturer is going to launch a facelift version of an existing model. Also, Tata Indica Vista has been one of the most successful models for the Indian auto maker, generating tremendous sales figures.

Earlier it was said that Vista facelift might make its way to the Indian car market by the end of the festive season. Now, reports have emerged, which suggest that the firm is taking its time and waiting for conducive market conditions so as to attract maximum number of buyers. Analysts feel that the decision by Tata Motors to wait could turn out to be really critical to the success of this hatchback. In the past, the firm has paid the price for launching a vehicle in haste and returning with disappointment. Tata Motors is believed to have worked really hard on making the design of the new Vista more attractive and appealing. Notably, the new version of the Tata Vista is expected to undergo changes only in terms of exteriors and interiors as specifications are going to remain the same.

Although no confirmation has come from the auto maker, strong rumours have surfaced, which claim that the new Vista is going to be similar to Manza Hybrid concept, which was shown at the 2012 Auto Expo held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. An automatic implication of the same would be that Indica Vista facelift will be sharp, bold, aggressive and stylish. Despite the overall profile being the same, Tata Motors is likely to change the front fascia of the Vista facelift. One major change that is expected to take place in the facelift version of Indica Vista is the replacement of Christmas tree style tail lamps with new units. In addition, the new version is going to come with a redesigned bumper. This seems to be a good decision by the auto maker as the current specifications have performed really well, delivering a top class performance.

In terms of engine and specifications, facelift Indica Vista is going to come in three options just like the current generation model. One version of the Indica Vista is powered by a 1.3-litre Multijet engine and the other runs on a 1.2-litre petrol drivetrain. In addition, there is another version of the Vista, which is fitted with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces an output of 69 bhp and 134.5 Nm. According to reports, the facelift version of Tata Indica Vista is going to be unveiled at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo. Industry experts feel that this hatchback is likely to benefit a lot from the success of the existing version. Tata Motors is one of the most trusted car brands in India, something that is likely to play a role in determining sales of the Vista facelift.
